My friends betrayed me

I never thought my friends would turn on me like that. 

They spread lies, ditched me when I needed them, and I honestly didn’t know who I was without them. For a while, I was just… lost.  

But slowly, I started focusing on myself again. Stopped waiting for them to apologize or come back. I’m out here doing me now, meeting new people, and learning to trust—but this time, I’m putting myself first. It’s not about going back to what I had; it’s about becoming someone better.
